Haemochromatosis Australia’s new member online meeting
We want to support our members and help especially our new members understand and manage their condition by providing a space where you can ask questions, discuss your experience with haemochromatosis and hear from others in similar circumstances. Doing it by Zoom makes it easier for many people to join in. It’s easy – many of you will be familiar with Zoom since the pandemic made face to face events more difficult in all aspects of life. You can join on your computer (you will need a speaker/headphones and microphone to hear and speak), on your smartphone, iPad or tablet and using an ordinary landline telephone. These online new member get-togethers are relatively new and we are hoping you will help us design future events and tell us what you would like to hear more about.
To secure a spot at the new member meeting and receive instructions on how to participate please use the Book event form at the bottom of this page. We will email a confirmation and information on how to join the event.
We are also planning to host a series of webinars every few months covering topics related to haemochromatosis. We recently held a very successful webinar ‘Recent developments in haemochromatosis; where gastroenterologist and consultant hepatologist Professor John Olynyk spoke about developments over the past ten years.
