A free awareness session presented by Haemochromatosis Australia will include:

  • Hobart gastroenterologist Dr Hugh Jackson – general information about Haemochromatosis in an informal question and answer format.
  • Menzies PhD student Barbara de Graaff – overview of her study of the health economics of the disorder, summary of current research and a ‘cost of illness’ study.
  • Haemochromatosis Australia volunteers – on hand to talk about the practical support provided by the organisation and the upcoming Haemochromatosis Awareness Week.

When: Thursday 20 June 2013 at 5.30pm

Where: The Menzies Research Institute, 17 Liverpool St, Hobart. We will meet you at the door and direct you to the lecture theatre.
