SUMMARY:Haemochromatosis Australia’s New member Meeting
DESCRIPTION:We want to support our members and help especially our new membersunderstand and manage their condition by providing a space where you can askquestions, discuss your experience with haemochromatosis and hear from othersin similar circumstances.  Doing it by Zoom makes it easier for manypeople to join in. It’s easy – many of you will be familiar with Zoom since thepandemic made face to face events more difficult in all aspects of life.You can join on your computer (you will need a speaker/headphones andmicrophone to hear and speak), on your smartphone, iPad or tablet and using anordinary landline telephone. These online new member get-togethers arerelatively new and we are hoping you will help us design future events and tellus what you would like to hear more about.\nTo secure a spot at the new member meeting and receive instructions on howto participate please use the Book event form atthe bottom of this page. We will email a confirmation andinformation on how to join the event.\nWe are also planning to host a series of webinars every few months coveringtopics related to haemochromatosis. We recently held a very successful webinar‘Recent developments in haemochromatosis; where gastroenterologist andconsultant hepatologist Professor John Olynyk spoke about developments over thepast ten years.
